Project Description

The Meadow Lakes Community has been actively pursuing the development of a community Special Use District (SpUD) since their comprehensive plan was adopted in October of 2005. The Matanuska-Susitna Borough has teamed with Agnew::Beck Consulting to facilitate the public participation process toward this effort.

Public Participation

The Meadow Lakes Planning Team has been meeting since October of 2007. They have developed a draft SpUD document and have scheduled a community workshop to review and take comment from community members on draft sections. Landowners and residents in the Meadow Lakes area, and other interested parties, are invited to participate in the community workshop. Workshop date, location and a link to the draft SpuD are listed below.
