Agnew::Beck assisted the local non-profit organization Friends of Kennicott with securing funds from the Rasmuson Foundation and garnering additional community contributions to partner with the National Park Service in renovating a historic building in Kennecott, Alaska. The facility opened in summer 2004 as a community cultural and visitor's center. Agnew::Beck worked to include diverse stakeholders into conceptual planning from home-schooled youth, tour and lodge operators, local business owners, cultural heritage enthusiasts and federal landowners.
