Project Description

Bristol Bay Economic Development Corporation has hired Agnew::Beck to provide grant writing services to the 17 BBEDC member communities located in Aleknagik, Clarks Point, Dillingham, Egegik, Ekuk, Ekwok,
King Salmon, Levelock, Manokotak, Naknek, Pilot Point, Port Heiden,
Portage Creek, South Naknek, Togiak, Twin Hills and Ugashik.

The goal of this project is to help carry out the mission of BBEDC: to promote economic growth within the Bristol Bay region by encouraging and assisting the establishment of infrastructure.

Agnew::Beck is assisting BBEDC community organizations in the following ways:

• Conduct grant-funding searches (through the e-newsletter and more direct requests)
• Identify appropriate funding for priority projects (as identified by each community)
• Provide technical assistance to apply for this funding.

Agnew::Beck will tailor assistance services to individual organization’s needs which may range from identifying and clarifying project goals to reviewing and developing existing and new proposals.

Public Participation

Agnew::Beck has developed a monthly e-newsletter which will provide up-to-date information on available funding opportunities appropriate for Bristol Bay communities.
