Please visit the Anchorage Library Foundation's website to learn about ways you can support your library. The findings of the plan are unsettling: Our public library is in a struggle for survival. If left unchecked, current funding trends will lead to a library system that is at best mediocre and at worst irrelevant. But it doesn't have to be that way. Thank you to the roughly 80 people who joined us to learn more about what Anchorage residents have said impoving library services. We presented the preliminary recommendations of the Library Community Plan. Your feedback will inform the issues, goals and strategies of the final plan.

Business and Nonprofit Community Strategy Session

at the Wilda Marston Theatre in the Z.J. Loussac Public Library to celebrate the library and listen to a panel of library experts. During the same week, library experts hosted focus groups to gather feedback and ideas.
